  12.     Hi, I have a USR Courier V. Everything with 11/1/95 flash ROM 
  13. and I've been having this really annoying problem with numerous CRC 
  14. errors when I'm downloading or receiving any information.  This 
  15. happens a lot while I'm in Windows 95 or Linux.  My 28.8 connect feels 
  16. like a 21.6 connect with all the CRC errors slowing down the 
  17. transfers.  In DOS, there are no problems.  The modem stays fast and 
  18. error free.  It also only seems to be a problem when receiving data.  
  19. Sending data seems to be fast and error free but not receiving.  Since 
  20. it works great in DOS, I'm guessing my hardware isn't broken.  It 
  21. wasn't always like this.  I do remember a time when Linux and Win 95 
  22. would never hit an error and would consistently be fast, but that's 
  23. not happening anymore.  Can anyone help?
